Ingredients:

2 cups whole flax seeds , soaked in 2 cups of water overnight or at least 4 hours
1 head of red lettuce
1 bunch of swiss chard
1 bunch of kale
4 stalks of celery
1 large chunk of ginger
2 cloves of garlic
2 carrots
1 red pepper
Juice of 3 limes
sea salt

Put all ingredients in the food processor. Blend until well mixed. ( May have to be done in stages)
Spread the batter about 1/2 inch thick on 2 Teflex-lined dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 5-7 hours.. Depends on how crisp you want them.Turn crackers over, peel off Teflex sheet and dehydrate for another 5-7 hours

Blueberry Sorbet  - A Summer Delight

A great way to enjoy the pleasures of summer without all the fat is to make your own sorbet..This recipe for sorbet can be made with any berries. 
Today I chose blueberries  because they are so good for us.

BLUEBERRY SORBET
  • 4 cups of fresh blueberries
  • 1-1/2 cups of filtered water
  • 1 cup of agave nectar
Mix together using a good blender. I strain the seeds using a good mesh bag ( sprouting bag )
 and then pour into an ice cream maker and follow directions

These fuge balls are so delicious and fudgy. They will fill the needs of any chocoholic

Ingredients:


  • 2 c dates, pitted and soaked
  • 2 c almond butter
  • 1/2c cacao powder

Directions:
  • 1.Blend the dates in a food processor until it's like a psate
  • 2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth
  • 3.Remove and form small balls

Roll in cocoa powder, coconut and crush almonds or walnuts

Raw CHEEZITS

I was in the mood one day for something crunchy.I didn't want to buy the normal pita chips that I sometimes get  for my husband so I created these.

INGREDIENTS
1 orange sweet pepper
1 cup of macadamia nuts ( that had been soaked for a few hours )
Dash of cayenne pepper
1 tsp of nutritional Brewers yeast















 DIRECTIONS : Chop up the pepper and blend in the vita mix blender with the macadamia nuts until smooth and creamy. Add some sea salt  and yeast if you like and then spread on a dehydrator tray. I like my crackers thin so thats how I spread it..
115 degrees for 12 hours
